Alex Crown is a Swedish guitarist and composer based in Stockholm, known for his elegant blend of smooth jazz, instrumental pop, jazz fusion, and influences from Swedish folk music. After over 15 years as a freelance musician within the Swedish music scene, Crown is now also focusing on his own music, with guitar playing at the core.

His recent singles showcase both creative diversity and collaborations with some of Sweden’s and the US’s most respected musicians. On his latest single, "Play by Four,"Henrik Linder, from the internationally acclaimed band Dirty Loops, is featured as bassist, soloist, and co-composer. Linder’s unique bass groove and sound add dynamic tension to the track, further elevating Crown's distinct style.

Previously, Crown collaborated with smooth jazz pianist Jonathan Fritzén, resulting in co-written tracks such as "The Last Straw"and "For Obvious Reasons."The latter also features Henrik Linder on bass and drum virtuoso Jonathan Lundberg, adding further depth and energy to the composition.

Crown also contributed as the featured guitarist on Fritzén's hit track "Melting," further solidifying their long-standing musical partnership.

On June 27, Crown will release his next single, "Hidden Path", in collaboration with violinist Conny Lindgren from the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. The track combines Crown's sense of melodic elegance with a folk-inspired violin melody and modern production – a rare yet exciting approach within the genre.

In addition to his solo project, Alex Crown is also known as the creator of the band Sonic Station, where he has been a songwriter, producer, and guitarist. The band released two critically acclaimed albums, which further expanded Crown’s musical profile.
